Most voted UK Artist wins Studio Prize

As many of you may know Rock Sampler is based in the UK and although we love to showcase Artists from all different countries – this voting cycle we wanted to offer an exclusive prize to a UK band!

The UK Artist with the highest votes at the end of January will win 100% free studio time to record and produce a song at the Music Box recording studio. We will also be offering money towards the artist’s travel expenses. Here is a little information about the studio:

Music Box is a professional recording studio based in beautiful countryside, within easy reach of the A303 and M5, in the middle of Glastonbury, Yeovil & Taunton, Somerset in the South West of England. Run by Andy (bassist with New Riot (Ex-Fandangle) and guitarist for Mr Zippy) the studio is set up to record all styles, but especially Punk, Rock, Ska, Metal, Indie, Alternative, Dub, Reggae & Rock. We also have a lot of experience in Acoustic, Ambient & Commercial styles too!!

Music Box consists of a massive control room, complete with sofas all round, a large live room and a vocal booth. Full off-the-road parking is available directly outside the front door, and the whole studio is on the ground floor, easing loading in and out. We have a full backline of professional guitar & bass amps, and drums, that are free to use in all recording sessions. Our full equipment list is listed below!

In addition to this the winner’s track, which they record and produce at the studio, will be showcased as the opening track on the next download sampler on the rocksampler.com website! Rock Sampler staff will also interview the winning Artist and photograph and document the session. You’ll be able to check out all of this on the website too!
