Sonisphere 2010 Tickets – And the winner is…

Firstly, we’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in our recent competition to win tickets to this year’s Sonisphere Festival, if we could have give tickets to all of you; we would have!
After much debating and arguing about your entries however, we’ve come up with a winner…
Matthew Jones of Cardiff, Wales will be joining Rock Lifestyle for a weekend of mayhem at this year’s Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth Park. We chose Matthew for the creativity of his entry, which we’ve posted below:
‘Why do I deserve these tickets?
Tickets that would mean on Friday I can see Alice Cooper, feel like “I’m eighteen” and “school’s out” and choose my “poison” for the rest of the weekend….. Tickets that would mean on Saturday I can either be a “nancy boy” and watch Placebo or “die laughing” with Therapy?, before being surrounded by “girls, girls, girls” at the Saturn stage for the Crue…… Tickets that would mean on Sunday I could be somewhere “south of heaven” watching Slayer, then “check my brain” before Alice in Chains come on, waiting all the time for Maiden to appear – who at Knebworth would make up for all my “wasted years”, the “infinite dreams” of seeing them at this time, in this place, the stage lit up “brighter than a thousand suns”, all the time knowing at “2 minutes to midnight” I may have to “run to the hills”…… I don’t deserve these tickets – I need them! “Du hast” to give them to me! Unlike Skunk Anansie I do need your “charity” and if it means I get to see Terrorvision at Knebworth I’ll even be your “pretend best friend”!‘
Two runner ups were also chosen for the quality of their entries and we’ll hopefully be sending something their way shortly too!
