Rock legend, Alice Cooper, has revealed he will play two headline shows later this year in the UK.

The shows are  on 31st October and 1st November and are set to take place in London’s Roundhouse.

Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon have put a title to their latest album which is due 4th October this year. The follow-up to 2008′s ‘Suicide Season‘ will be called ‘There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret.‘.

The album will be released through Visible Noise and we should have artwork to show you soon enough!

Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

Avenged Sevenfold have released their first album since the death of their former drummer, Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan at the end of last year. ‘Nightmare‘ has come out very much under the press radar compared to the band’s previous releases.

Avenged Sevenfold sent out a message to their fans saying, “We want to thank all those who have supported us, and continue to support us, by helping to spread the word about Nightmare and all the fans who are planning to get the album… Your support means a lot. – Avenged Sevenfold”

The group have also released a video for the album’s title track, ‘Nightmare‘. Check it out below and let us know what you think:

This year’s Sonisphere festival now officially has show times!

For anyone who’s going, these will prove invaluable, so print them off and put them somewhere safe. Also, there will be a ‘Time Warp (we assume the song?) world record attempt” at 6pm at the Saturn Stage, so we urge anyone without better plans to head on down there!

Filter have put out a new music video for song, ‘The Inevitable Relapse‘ and we’re not quite sure what to make of it…

Mainman Richard Patrick comments: “I always wanted to do a video that shows what a healthy addiction looks and feels like, without being some G-rated after school special. Enjoy!”

A ‘healthy addiction’? Hmmmm…

Kings Of Leon

The world famous Kings Of Leon have made a less than gracious exit from a recent show in St Louis, Missouri after an infestation of pigeons in the rafters bombarded the band members with excrement. The group left the stage for good three songs in to their set.

“It’s not only disgusting – it’s a toxic hazard“, Said publicist Andy Mendelsohn in a recently issued statement on the matter, “Jared was hit several times during the first two songs. On the third song, when he was hit in the cheek and some of it landed near his mouth, they couldn’t deal any longer. ”

Drummer Nathan Followill tweeted, ”So sorry St Louis. We had to bail, pigeons s***ing in Jared’s mouth and it was too unsanitary to continue… SO SORRY. Don’t take it out on Jared, it’s the f****** venue’s fault. You may enjoy being s*** on but we don’t. Sorry for all who (travelled) many miles.”

Full refunds were given to those who attended the gig at the Verizon Amphitheatre, but we’re sure many a fan will be disappointed to have missed the band. The boys have promised to return to St Louis, but we expect they won’t be returning to the same pigeon infested venue next time!

Darkest Hour

Mike Schleibaum, guitarist with Washington metal band, Darkest Hour, has begun work on a new side project called Beasts Of No Nation.

Schleibaum has gone for more of a hardcore punk sound with BONN than the one he’s more used to with DH.
